Pictures and Praises
Hi, remember me from New Hope? Well I just wanted you to know something very precious to me. My son Adam, 11 years old, who was in Patrick's class, well he broke his glasses today but we glued them back together for church tonight and because he can not see w/o them, and during the water games tonight after the supper, they fell apart again, well he came home, went to his room, and waited patiently for me to attempt to re-glue his glasses, I did not have much luck, but I noticed the Bible in his hands, which he reads the Bible a good bit, he was saved 6 months ago, well I came on upstairs to my room to get on the computer and he came in here and I asked him what he was doing, he said "mama, for 6 months now, I have done exactly what that lady did, you know I listened to her and realized I am in the gray area, I want to change that, so I am reading my Bible and praying, because I want to start doing what I am suppose to do for God" and bless his heart he is blind as a bat w/o his glasses and he has his nose stuck in his Bible and he don't care one bit that he is struggling to read it, because he feels so impressed to start making a difference!! He said that lady sure helped me mama to see that I needed to start working for the Lord NOW, not wait 25 years to start! So Kenitra, you did touch one little boys heart and made him aware that he needed to begin doing what The Lord wants him to do!! Thank You so very much!! He made me cry!! What wonderful words a mother can hear her child say, thank you sooo much!! God Bless You!! ((Hugs))

"This is a great testimony. My experience is very similar and many of us Christians have lived in the Gray area way too long. That is why I got involved with the FCA. Your bracelet will be a help mate to hold me accountable and to boldly share my faith with others."

Oh my goodness...I am amazed at what God has brought you. What an amazing testimony & wonderful gift. I am tearing up just reading the story. God is absolutely wonderful in how he speaks to us. It is amazing to step back and see him at work. I feel like my story is so similar to yours, in that I have been saved but really have questioned myself in the past & wondered if I am doing the things that I should...or even more important, the things that he has created me to do. Thank you for such a wonderful wake-up call. Sharing your story is so important, Kenitra. I would go as far as to say that most people that have accepted Christ get confused on how to 'live it out', if you know what I mean. I've been there & struggle with it, for sure. But you are right, there are 2 sides to it....the reaping & the sowing. I recently was at a conference where the lady speaking said, "Everything has 2 sides. God of Peace, God of Wrath. There is nothing so thin that it doesn't have 2 sides. Even a piece of paper has two sides." That struck a cord with me for some reason. Reading your testimony made something click with what I heard from that speaker that day. I tend to get caught up with the "what am I reaping" side of my faith. I need to be just, if not more concerned with the "what am I sowing". There are definitely 2 sides in order to make God's will for us complete. God has really started a great work in you! I will be praying for you & your ministry. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I would be honored to help you in any way...even licking envelopes! Love you girl & hope to see you soon!

The girls in the drive through were sharing your story about the bracelet you wear! It is so touching to know that in the course of your very busy day you make time to share such an inspiring message about faith!!! It is an example to follow. Thanks for making my day!
